I stumbled across something I wrote in 2019 where I delved into pivotal moments in my childhood that brought forth depression in my adult years, that is until God showed me that I wasn’t defined by my journey, but my journey would be a source of light.
Without the darkness, there would be no need for light. It took the darkness we once walked through to ignite a fire to be a light for another. If there is anything to understand, it is that your story isn’t over and your endurance will be a source of hope for another.
It takes awareness, getting extremely uncomfortable, and a desire to change to redefine who you are. Healing is a process, thankfully God won’t give you more than you can handle.
As long as there is breath in my lungs, there is something to learn and a call to answer. I am thankful that God showed me that I can write the script, I am not just simply a character defined by a writer.
In which ways are you using endurance as hope?
Let the comments be a source of hope to those that haven’t yet redefined their obstacles! I can’t wait to hear your testimony!
