OurDayDream Daily Column (ref.4)

Reference #4

Hello everyone! Welcome to my daily column! I hope that your day was great! I had one of those days when I was nonstop chasing my tail. It is like, you are consistently doing without feeling like you got anything done. I did have a few wins though!

Every morning I read my daily readings, check reference 1 if you are interested in what books! I like to look for a thought that stands out, today the morning message seemed to be relaying Day Dreams.

Lo, this is the man that made not God his strength; But trusted in the abundance of his riches, and strengthened himself in his wickedness.

Psalm 52:7 KJV
Joshua Whitehead from 4 All Generations, Austin and Leb Comedians, Mickey Bell Comedian, Zahna, Nate Middleton from Saved by Scarlet, Devin Williams, and Rusty Drake Music.

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

Matthew 7:7 KJV

There were a couple of key points I read this morning, a house built on Christ will not fall, and creating your future starts with what you envision in your mind. What are we meditating on? I can only speak for myself when I say that I spend a lot of time meditating on why God hasn’t provided a way to escape yet. Today’s key point seemed to be pointing to giving your burdens to God and getting a clear image in your mind of what would bring you joy and satisfaction, while embracing that feeling fully, and asking God to guide you in the way! Surely God doesn’t want us presenting him to the world while internally stressed out. I mean what kind of representation would we have? I believe that God wants us to smile, to laugh, to have joy! I believe God wants us to represent Christ as our savior. I firmly believe that it would have made Christ’s last moments much easier to envision us enjoying our lives today.

For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.

Isaiah 64:4 KJV

I believe that our internal dialog plays a huge part in blocking our prosperity. I also believe that when we make it a point to sit in stillness and fully embrace a place we want to be, being the person we want to be, with everything we need in mind, it smoothes out the speed bumps that we endure regularly. I mean we have so much to look forward to. Imagine you are on your way to a beautiful vacation spot, on the way your child isn’t listening and throwing a huge temper tantrum, but it doesn’t bother you as much as it typically would because you know soon you will have a jaw-dropping view that you can enjoy together as a family. You know that these hiccups are just the journey to a breathtaking destination! I have a meditation that I try to do every morning, it brings the vision I want for my future to the forefront of my consciousness while I add prayer and worship. It is a great way to start your day and get the tightness out of your body. Check it out!

It is also important to understand that faith without works is dead. Is your faith activated? Do you believe that God has great plans for your life? Do you knock? Do you ask God for what you want while believing he wants to make your dreams come true? Are you allowing God the opportunity to show up, or are you believing you have all the power? Does satan get in your ear with doubt?

Last year I received a lot of hits and Satan found his way into my thoughts. As the months passed by I began to notice that my thoughts were consumed with everything that was me. I can’t do it. I can’t fix this. This is wrong, that’s wrong. What do I do now? I, I, I, I, to the point that I was on my own. It was extremely lonely and overwhelming. Agh, this reminds me of a profound statement brother Brandon Gatson put on his Facebook post this morning! You are not alone! Knock on the door to the kingdom of heaven.

God with all that power, saw it was wise to have humans and angels assist Him so please don’t you try to do things on your own. God is not even doing that.

Today I had a podcast interview with Zahna! We spoke about the trials we endure when are trying to stay on the street called the straight, or the narrow path. She has endured many tests over the years, much as I have. Though I firmly believe that it is for a worthy reason, so the power of Christ will fall upon us. No one is exempt from trauma! It is such an inspiration when we as Christians speak about our trials. It shows people that we all bleed the same. This was such a powerful interview especially for those that endure hardship, in other words, you don’t want to miss it! Set to publish on February 20th! Check out Zahna featuring her husband Patrick in the music video below, don’t be afraid to hit subscribe to show your support!

Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

John 20:29 KJV

Life is short, dream big and believe in yourself, and believe that God believes in you too! Blessings 🙏
