Hello everyone! Welcome to my daily column! I hope that your day was beautiful! Today was one of those days when I realize how much I whine when I am not feeling well! I was watching a movie this evening where King David was dwindling down, Bible Collection: Solomen (1997), the movie portrayed a man with so much strength. I thought if my strength was in the Lord, I should carry strength regardless of how I felt. I thank God for the holy spirit that teaches me so much in my walk. For I know that what we focus on intensifies, and God cures my amnesia. Check out the movie below.

Every morning I read my daily readings, check reference 1 if you are interested in what books! I like to look for a thought that stands out, today the morning message seemed to be relaying Offloading.

casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

What do you have to let go of to be at peace? I have been thinking a lot lately about what bothers me, and what intention I can put behind making my life easier. For so long I would get frustrated about not having lids for my Tupperware, yet not putting intention behind fixing the issue. Wow, thinking back, I wonder how many illnesses I gained from the stress I allowed, instead of intervening and fixing the issue. I was a victim to suffering, I decided suffering was my life and I can’t fix it. But it was something so simple. Taking the time, seeing I am worthy of spending 25$ for new Tupperware. Buying new Tupperware could have saved me years’ worth of complaints, and excuses to keep myself suffering. Yes, a year! Even then I didn’t learn this lesson by spending the 25$, nope I am stubborn. I learned this after they were given to me as a gift. Just this act alone took away so much stress in my days. I always say it’s the awareness that is worthy of so much praise, it’s a blessing. How often do you say I wish things were different, yet make no effort to change it?

But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

1 Peter 5:10‭-‬11 KJV

Keep your eye out tomorrow for the irritants that are hindering your day, so that you can actually put forth effort to change it. When we put effort into changing the things that we have the power to change, the things we can’t change reduce their intensity. It’s the accumulation of neglect that weighs so heavily. You have more strength than you may know!

“We can stop waiting for life to become perfect and start working with what we’ve got to make it as satisfying as we can.”
