We Need Rain, As We Need Tears…

We go through many ups and downs in life, we cope the best way we know-how. We all see things independently with a socially collective view; we see things in our very own fashion. Some deal with a lost item in the same way that someone else would deal with losing a loved one. We each have our very own personality, this is where our beauty lies.

If we choose to focus on one circumstance as a whole we may find ourselves getting lost in the moment. If we are focusing too hard on bad experiences we begin to see a pattern that has taken over our whole life, we see a bad life. Focusing on the bad leaves the good hidden. In this situation, we find overwhelming pain.

We could cope with our pain by bottling everything up. Although, how long can we pull this off before all our pain surfaces? Sometimes, pain attacks innocent people. We hold things in for so long that simply losing an item turns into a dramatized apocalypse.

Then God made tears! How beautiful they are, if you stop to examine them. If you stop to compare them to the bigger picture, to the rain for instance. We need rain as we need our tears!

The rain is imperative for existence on Earth. The rain keeps our atmosphere from overheating. We need rain for the oxygen that we breathe. Our bodies wouldn’t survive without the hydration the rain provides. We need rain in order for our plants to grow, which nourishes our bodies. If we go without rain the environment begins to die, but when God uses the rain to nourish our Earth we see beautiful colors of green. We see life!

Tears have their own components of necessity. Tears contain an enzyme called lysozyme that aids in preventing infections. As the rain nourishes our environment with water, as do our tears nourish our soul. Tears serve as a biological function. The body knows the difference between tears of irritants and tears of heartache. For when there is heartache our bodies release a stress-reducing hormone (adrenocorticotropic), and our natural pain killer (leucine enkephalin). Tears balance our stress hormone levels.

The rain gives us a beautiful rainbow to remind us that the sun is near and we will see beauty again in the form of light, as our tears are a reminder that there are better days to come!

Who Is The Man Of God?

In the beginning, God created Eve for Adam and Adam for himself. There is a structure that exists between the man and the woman that guarantees happiness and love. The man is to be the head of the woman as Christ is the head of the church. I once thought it seemed unfair until I dug a little deeper into the word…

The man of God abides by a certain standard. Not saying they would be a perfect man, but they do have the ability to be perfect. If they shall slip from perfection, they know which way to turn in-order to regain their stance.

The man of God is patient. His priority is to find an understanding of different points of view. He is slow to react, which ensures that conflict is not in his view. He will want to know the situation to find the best possible outcome. The man of God is peaceful, and comforting to be around. He is compassionate. He wants the best for those he touches, he chooses to heal suffering with love.

“Wherefore, my beloved brethern, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:”

James 1:19

The man of God is forgiving. His main priority is to get along with everyone. He isn’t one to argue, but leave each man their own perspective. He isn’t one to hold a grudge, he will simply give all wrongdoings to God inevitably dismissing them personally. He is understanding, he will lead by example.

“Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any:even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.”

Colossians 3:13

The man of God has an enormous amount of inner strength. He has no reason to fear because he knows that anything that comes his way is for the greater good. He will lift others up, for he knows the bad is only temporary. He is highly intelligent, he knows what is needed in order to overcome any obstacle. He has enough faith to get through any storm because through God he can see the rainbow.

A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength.”

Proverbs 24:5

The man of God is honest. He will tell you the truth always. He knows how to handle the truth in a loving manner. He strives to do what’s right in order to ensure that he can be trustworthy. He is trusting, he understands that everyone has bad in them but he chooses to focus on the good.

A righteous man hateth lying: but a wicked man is loathsome, and cometh to shame.”

Proverbs 13:5

The man of God is generous, he knows that everything he gives he will receive. He gives his heart to lift up the fallen. He gives resources if he has the opportunity to do so. He gives hope. He gives life. He gives strength. He is the man that people have no choice but to look up to.

“Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.”

1 Timothy 4:12

There is a reason that God made the woman for the man. The man has the strength to see the family through. He has the strength to allow the woman to be weak. He is focused on his duty. He will strive to make sure his family is safe, loved, and protected. The man of God is secure, he has a strong stance. He is trustworthy and intelligent. He has no reason to doubt or fear. He is confident because he knows that he is safe.

What If The Hardships We Endure Are For Our Greater Good?

What if all the bad was meant to serve a purpose? What if we get things taken away from us for a reason? What if the hardships we endure are for our greater good? What if…

“Sorrow is better than laughter: for by the sadness of the countenance the heart is made better.”

Ecclesiastes 7:3 KJV

What if every step we have ever taken was already planned out? What if we were traveling on course. What does that mean for us? What does that say about the choices we make? What if it’s not exactly what we should do next, but to accept what comes next?

You may be overwhelmed by all these questions. But I say, what if? What if my failures were meant to happen? What if I was meant to be mistreated? What if I was meant to struggle financially? What if I was meant to lose that job? What if all the bad was meant to serve a purpose?

“For what glory is it, If, When ye be buffeted for your faults, Ye shall take it patiently? But if, When ye do well, and suffer for it, Ye take it patiently, This is acceptable with God.”

1 Peter 2:20 KJV

We were not brought here for an easy ride. There is bound to be heartaches and losses. There is going to be pain and suffering. Things aren’t going to seem fair. When we understand that there is a purpose for our pain, we can accept that it was all out of our control. When we accept the fact that God is our shelter, we release ourselves from the anguish of it all.

“There hath no temptation taken you But such as is common to man: But God is faithful, Who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; But will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”

1 Corinthians 10:13

God promises to never abandon us. All we have to do is pay attention to our surroundings. God will bring about signs. You may find a facebook post that triggers a thought. You may find a show that relays a message. Maybe you turn on the radio and there is a song that resonates. God will bring us people we need the most when we need them the most. People to guide and comfort us. People that tell us what we need to hear when we need to hear it. When we begin to pay attention we find our trust in our travels.

Faith is understanding that God is there through the good and the bad. There is no need to fear. There is no need to stress because we know that all things were meant to be for something better. We can release our pain, and embrace love where everything just seems to fall into place.

Let Go Of Everything That Is Out Of Your Control

How do you walk your days? Do you see things for how they truly are? There are many circumstances that we go through in our lives where we have two choices: blame others, or look at ourselves.

We may blame everything on ourself. We may take all the wrongs of the world and place them on our shoulders, then when things slip through our fingers we beat ourselves up. Or, we may blame others for ruining our moments, our days, or even our lives. We gain anger that we hold to be true.

The key is to judge everything that we hold true to our minds. The truth is that our mind is an illusionary perspective. What does this mean?

Let’s say we get angry because of somebody’s actions, we must instead seek understanding. They have their own perspective. If we are allowing their illusion to bring about a negative emotion inside of us. That is our fault, it is not theirs. Let go of others’ actions, love yourself through the chaos.

If we lose our job, we must see that there is a plan in place much larger than our own. We are in control of nothing in our lives. You were meant to lose that job so that you could gather more resources: such as knowledge, and perseverance so that you will be prepared to gain a better position. One that you may love. This is your opportunity to chase your dreams.

We may lose the love of our life. We thought for sure they were it, while they were trying to find better. We thought for sure they were it until they began mistreating us. We thought for sure they were it until they decided to give up on us. It was out of our control. We blame them for not loving us enough. We may have been hurt so bad that we have a hard time seeing that the relationship was never ours. We may neglect to see that their is our person waiting patiently for our love. If we keep our hearts on lock down for fear, we may just walk right past the one that will unfailingly fill our hearts with joy.

When we decide that we will not place blame on people, but rather see things for how they truly are, we find peace in the destruction. Let go of all that’s out of your control, be open to receive.

What Will Be Your Legacy?

As we plan our days, we put a picture together in our minds. You may have work, the bills need to be paid. You may have dinner to make, kids to take care of. You may need to go shopping today, you need groceries. You may rush through your days, wishing you had just a little more time. You may look back and see a repetition of events. You might have some good days and some bad. You may even have too much time with not enough excitement.

There are many things in a day that must be accomplished. We can’t stop to smell the roses, we may miss a pivotal piece of our lives and our whole world may simply shatter. We may find ourselves as procrastinators because we just get tired of trying to play catch up. We find our time to lay down, while our minds won’t shut off from the things that we needed to do but didn’t. We may lay there thinking about all the things that we have yet to accomplish.

What if you had one more day on this planet? Would your bills matter? Would work be a priority? Would you worry about what you must make for dinner? We most certainly would not make any of thee above as a priority. We don’t think about our last breath as an option in our daily travels. We don’t think about the fact that we could be walking up the street and be gone forever, with a legacy to leave behind.

What will your legacy be? What will you leave your family with when your gone? Some may wish to leave behind a material legacy: money, resources, etc.. Although, when we think of our families, we most often will think of the good memories.

Live each day as your legacy. Follow your dreams, the happier you are on the inside the more love you can give away. Don’t define your life as the things that need accomplished, define your life as a living legacy. Show your loved ones that the sky is the limit, the world is in their hands, and there is a love that never dies.

Instead Of Trying To Make Changes This Year, Appreciate You…

The New Year usually means new resolutions. The changes that you would like to make this year, and the things that you would like to accomplish. Maybe, the things that you want to buy. You might just wish for a better year, full of happiness.

There is always something to want, even need for that matter. There are inevitable changes constantly occurring on both the inside and the outside of our being. Some may look back and see waisted resolutions. There is a reason for this if we want to make any changes in our lives we need an antidote.

I would like to make a suggestion for your new year full of dreams and aspirations. I would like to give you an antidote. Instead, of trying to make changes this year, appreciate who you really are without any of your resolutions at all. Appreciate who you are authentically. Appreciate everything you have. Work on being the best version of yourself rather than a new you.

May your year be full of love, laughter, and kindness. May all your efforts bring you not the road that you want, but the road that you were always meant to have. May you see that every obstacle is guiding you to a better day. Most of all may you see that you are loved and cherished!

Why Might We Gain Discontentment…

What if our only concern each day was what we needed to accomplish in our own lives? We might receive what it is that we are looking for, or we may experience dissatisfaction. Why is that?

Concerning “The 6th Spiritual Law Of Perpetual Transmutation Of Energy”, uplifting others will trigger positivity inside of us. In order to gain balance in our lives, we must be willing to give without expectations in order to receive. To explain it only makes sense to start with Genesis.

“And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;”

Genesis 3:17 God’s warning to Adam, after Adam and Eve ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

Adam and Eve ate from the tree of knowledge, ultimately giving us many qualities to our existence. We will gain the curse of discontentment, unless we are living like Christ. Christ came to pass giving us access to the qualities of ourselves we should have had before Eve ate from the tree of knowledge. With Christ, it is instinctual to reach out and lift others up; to do what we can to help others out.

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:17‬ Because of Christ we loose the curse, the discontentment.

Each day, we wake up to a fresh new beginning. Our thoughts when we wake up, determine our accomplishments for the day. Wake up determined to make somebody’s day better. Give a smile, your time, your story, your guidance, or your concern. See the gifts you gain from making a difference in other people’s lives.

10 Changes You Can Make Today That Will Change Your Life!

There may come a time in your life when you just dont feel at home in your own skin. Are you content with who you are today? If you are you are truly blessed! If you are unhappy you may want to reevaluate your life.

10 things you may want to look at to actualize who you want to be.

1. When you look at who you are without any outside influences, who do you see? Is there anything that you may be doing to hurt yourself? You are a unique individual! The person that lies within you only wants to be happy. Happiness lies in your perception of the world around you. If you have any negative behaviors, change your perception to embrace happiness.

2. Are you still holding on to the past? Are you holding on to resentments? How do these resentments make you feel? No matter what your past handed you, resentments are you simply punishing yourself for a moment that has passed. There is something positive we can pull from every negative. See the positive, and let go of the negative.

3. How do you react? Are you quick to react before really soaking in the situation? Do you react negatively? How does it make you feel when you react in a negative way? Today is the day to change your reaction. Today is the day to compliment disrespect. Why should you compliment someone that disrespects you? If you react to disrespect you are actually fueling the fire of the aggressor, as well as taking in their negativity. If you compliment disrespect you may turn their day around, ultimately the truth is that you gain from giving.

4. Do the people in your life feed your soul? What kind of people do you keep in your circle? Do they add happiness to your life? Or, are they constantly sucking the happiness out of you? Are they people that raise you up, or bring you down? Are they the image of the person that you want to be? Sometimes, we have to make the choice to love from a distance because our wellbeing has to be the top priority. No one is worth more than our own happiness. I’m not saying abandon people in your life that you love, I am simply saying you should do what’s best for you and those you love.

5. How do you treat other people? If you are treating other people badly how does that make you feel? No matter what a person does that you look down upon you only hurt yourself by giving negativity to negativity. The people you constantly come in contact with may not deserve your kindness, but you should realize that you don’t know what they have been through in their lives. Sometimes people just need love to show them a new day.

6. How do you keep your environment? Is your environment a mess? When your environment is a mess, how does it make you feel? Chances are you won’t be able to truly embrace the new you if your environment is bringing you down. Clean up the chaos.

7. Are you happy with your daily routine? How do you go about your day? Is there anything you are lacking that brings you a sense of disappointment. Disappointment does not fit in the realm of happiness. If your routine makes you unhappy, change it. Go to bed proud of your accomplishments!

8. Is there something that you are putting off doing that would make you happier? Do you think about relaying a message to someone, but you’re too scared? Is there a place you have always wanted to go but never had the money? Maybe, you never even left your state? Maybe you have never been able to stick up for yourself? Don’t let your limiting beliefs scare you from your happiness.

9. Do you enjoy your current position? Does your job make you miserable? If so what’s holding you back? Is the mountain you have to climb worse than working in this position for the rest of your life? What are you waiting for? Fear and happiness do not correspond. Chase your dreams!

10. Does your life have purpose? Do you feel like you make a difference in other people’s lives? This is very important because if you are only receiving and not giving you will be out of balance. You will never be content with what you receive. Same goes if you are always giving out and never receiving, you will feel drained. Give without expectations, and receive the gift of pride.

Your life will not change in an instant. This is a constant evaluation and effort, but over time you will look back at the changes you have made and see the efforts were worth every moment. What changes can you start making today to change tomorrow?

Sometimes, We Just Need To Take A Leap Of Faith…

Sometimes we just need to take a leap of faith. What does this mean? This means that we need to let go of all that ever was. Our perception is based on everything that we have ever known, this keeps us safe. Or so we perceive.

When we are taught to believe that dreams don’t come true we tend to stay simple. When we are taught to believe that relationships don’t last we tend to hold on a little too tight. When we are taught to believe that there is nothing good in us we tend to search for goodness from others.

I am here to tell you that at any given time you can chase your dreams. You can go back to school, start your own business, be a model, a writer, you can do anything you want to do. Those that told you that you are just a person were wrong, you are the world.

I am here to tell you that relationships can be lasting and full of beauty if you love yourself first. Know that you deserve the very best! Don’t just settle! Find someone that loves you for who you are, and cherish that love.

I am here to tell you that God made you perfectly in his image. You are loved, you are the only person that can perfectly do things the way that you do. No one can give you what you can’t give yourself.

Today, release your fears because God will not forsake you. Your paths are already guided. You are safe to live the life you have always wanted. And that life lies within.

I Will Never Understand

Sometimes it’s easiest to just let go. What do I mean by that? We spend so much time trying to understand the world around us that we miss the moments. We question why it is that we don’t get what we want instead of seeing that we may have been saved from what we didn’t want.

Let’s face it, sometimes determination gets you nowhere. Sometimes passion gets lost. Sometimes you put all of your love into someone only to get hurt. Sometimes we kill ourselves at work to receive no recognition. Sometimes we make money just to pay the bills. Life isn’t always the most pleasurable experience.

Just about any situation that we can possibly go through has been experienced before. If you are reading this you are still alive, that’s something to be grateful for! The bad is inevitable, excepting that the bad is inevitable is a gift! There is a blessing in every situation, seek and you shall find.
